PADI Dive Master	Full PADI Dive Master certification
Schedules	Candidates may join courses at any stage providing that they meet the prerequisites for the particular course.* Contact the Scuba Shack for alternative schedules
Equipment	Dive Master Candidates should bring appropriate thermal protection to remain comfortable while spending up to 2 hours in the water. It is recommended that Candidates bring full scuba equipment including alternate air source, submersible pressure gauge, BCD with low-pressure inflator, compass, whistle and knife. Scuba Shack will provide tanks, weight belts and weights.

PADI Dive Master
This course includes academic knowledge development. Waterman ship and stamina are evaluated together with diving skills, which will be developed to demonstration quality. You will complete a rescue evaluation and underwater mapping exercises as well asdemonstratingyour skills in dive planning and leadership. You will also function as an instructional assistant, both in confined andopenwater. Completion of this course qualifies you to attend a PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) and eventual certificationas a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. The Dive Master course is also available as a one-month internship where candidates get the opportunity to work in a busy Zanzibari dive center.
