Scuba Shack Zanzibar -Kendwa Diving Loaction

Kendwa started life as a fishing village,
discovered 5 years ago, and it still has Zanzibar’s most secluded beaches.
The north coast with its spectacular beaches and charm still has this
paradise feeling. It as well is the dhow building capital of Zanzibar, where
you will be able to see the traditional methods of dhow construction in
action. This area of Zanzibar has some fantastic beaches, and nearby coral
reefs which are ideal for diving and snorkeling. The local villagers have
built a turtle sanctuary where injured turtles and other marine animals are
nursed back to health before being released back into the warm waters of the
Indian Ocean.

From Kendwa you can visit any part of the island. Why not mix
your diving with a fascinating spice tour to learn where the name spice
island comes from. Another option is a visit to the south, where you can
find one of the few places in the world that dolphins frolic in the water at
any time of year.
